Happy New Year!

It’s funny. I’m the kind of guy that’s internally somewhat “bah humbug” about holidays. I mean… they’re just another day, another spin of the planet right? WRONG! I used to think that. A couple years ago I had an epiphany. I realized that that it’s not only my perception which creates my reality, the people around me’s perception influences my reality. So if on the first day of every year hundreds of nutters decide to jump into a freezing cold lake for… some reason, that day is pretty damn special (for those hundreds of nutters jumping in the lake anyway). 😀

Why Do People Jump In The Lake?

People keep asking me that and… I have no idea. Some people do it for charity, others for tradition and myself… cause it’s some crazy shit to do on a Saturday morning? (Gotta do SOMETHING crazy on a Saturday morning right?) There’s an article on Wikipedia with some links and information for people that REALLY want to do some research. 🙂

Besides my long ass video above, I have some shorter videos and videos from friends who I met down there.

KuMays Vision

I’m putting KuMays’ video first because he hooked me up with that SWEET waterproof camera. He took some nice pictures down there (like this one of my EPIC ICICLED BEARD).

HistoricThirdWard Vision

HistoricThirdWard (aka Shawn) got some nice photos of Garth in his video. That guy has jumped in the drink FIFTY-NINE YEARS IN A ROW! Gangster.

I have two more clips. The full waterproof camera clip and a shorter clip of that clip with just the shout outs I gave to some peeps in the MilTownKlan.

New Year’s Resolutions

I didn’t make any. I been trying to get my shit together since ’99! lol
