Going To Sleep
Before I talk about waking up allow me to break down “going to sleep.” So… If you didn’t know already I’m bipolar. This has hooked up MASSIVE amounts of creativity and energy (AWESOME!!!!) It’s also hooked up a few experiences where the creativity and energy spin out of control (which… is a different kind of awesome 🙂 ) and lands me in a mental hospital. After my stay in the hospital I tend to withdraw from… EVERYTHING. I don’t want to talk to anyone, I don’t want to really do anything and… Yeah. We’ll call it “going to sleep.” I tried to sidestep the “going to sleep” process but… Yeah, it didn’t work. I think it’s something I need to do while my body and mind adjusts to the medication (and recovers from the massive amounts of energy and creativity which was surging through my mind).
So back in late April I had this CRAZY dream. It had mysterious monkey madness, magical morphing battles and cats. My mind slowly started “waking up” after that dream and… I wanted to start… Dare I say it… “pwning life” again. 😀 I started reading again, decided to start working out again and… Figure out what my next moves were going to be. Eventually (June 10th to be exact, it’s in my journal) I made a list of shit I needed to get done. It was a pretty basic list: clean my room, clean my email inbox, etc. BUT it led me to my next project which I’ll be attacking with the singular focus that I once attacked the martial arts with (which is why I’m a bad-ass martial artist who could bust through your monitor and dropkick you in the ankle right now if I wanted to… Yeah, I’m THAT bad-ass).
Hustling On The Internets
That’s right. It’s time to get that internet $. All I know is other people have it figured out and are making decent money without too much of a time commitment. That means I can do it to! I actually have a lot of things I want to do when it comes to getting dollars online, things more closely related to the shit I’m passionate about (like Chinese Language/Martial Arts lessons, an eBook on Pwning Life, a video gaming blog, etc.) BUT I’m going to figure out how to do it “grinding.” My grinding method of choice is going to be PPC (Pay Per Click) advertising and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) type shits. I’m going to find an eBook (or service or product) which I can promote as an affiliate and get a commission ($) on any sales I direct.
My first project is promoting an eBook about how to flirt and pick up women (something I’m a fucking EXPERT at. Go ahead and ask your woman, she’ll tell you. 😉 ) In theory it seems like it’ll be easy money. Like you’ll make an ad, a simple website, sell the book and BOOM money in the bank. Well… It pretty much is that easy, but there’s a lot of refining and whatnot to make everything work like that and… It looks like you could easily spend a bunch of money on advertisement and get no sales if you’re not careful.
I’ll quit rambling about that now. 🙂 Here’s the website I’m working on: HowDoIDate.com.
Softmodding Your Wii
Softmodding your Wii is BADASS!! Softmodding = software modifying. It basically involves making changes to the Wii’s OS so you can do cool shit with it (like back up your games and play them off of a hard drive). Someone asked for more information in the comments of my video, so here it is.
The process for softmodding the Wii is pretty straight forward. You put some files on an SD card. You boot up the programs. You follow some instructions. BOOM, you’re done. Things would have been easier if I had more than one SD card for certain parts, but it’s not necessary. It’s also handy to have a Gamecube controller if you want to do stuff like back up your OS to an SD card (in case you “brick” your Wii, which is pretty unlikely).
I did mine following instructions from a text file of a torrent that had all the files I needed (just search wii softmod on thepiratebay.org and you should be good).
I got the following links from the Lifehacker article above. They all have tasty treats of information:

[Wiihacks – A forums about… I’ll let you guess]
