There’s this syndrome on the internet that makes a person feel SUPER HUMAN. They act super tough and want to punk everyone. Challenging people to fights, calling them names, etc. Normally, I would just call this trolling (aka doing anything to get a rise out of someone), but internet tough guys are different because they have some sort of “real” connection to what they’re doing on the internet. Until someone wakes them the fuck up and lets them know that their tough guy antics aren’t cool and they need to chillax (or start trolling properly).
Parents, don’t let this happen to your son or daughter.
Pwning Internet Tough Guys
I used to feel sort of bad for these ITGs that would get pwned. I’d think to myself “He’s just a little kid, just let him be.” My new experience with one has changed my view. They’re fucking annoying and need to be put in their place. Trolls tend to be funny and fun to play with. Internet tough guys are annoying.
I’ll make a long story short. Some kid was on my message board acting stupid. People on the message board pointed this out. Kid runs away all upset (aka [butthurt]). [Kid comes back all “tough.”] Kid acts tough and I ignore. Kid starts acting tough through comments on my videos, and I play along. Kid keeps acting tough, I get annoyed and make this video:
I made this video not so much to get back at the tough guy (although that’s pretty funny too) but to make a point about internet tough guys. I don’t think this is an issue that gets much coverage but… Perhaps it should? I don’t know.
Now I’m feeling bad for sebastian… lol Oh well. What’s done is done. 🙂 Seriously though, people don’t get it but…
I’m hesitant to post the link (because my mom might follow it) but for more satirical information on internet tough guys, here’s the [Encyclopedia Dramatica page.]
OK. Now I have some laundry to do…
