Failed!

😦

But I was successful in finding out that it’s OK to drive there by yourself, fail and drive home :D. I failed on the first part where you drive in between these lines for over 7 seconds (15M worth). I think it’s definitely something that needs to be practiced before going and I think it’s definitely something that is about as useful as a useless tree (the test that is). It was harder than I imagined though.

Adding some photos to the flickr, so there’ll be something new to see there soon.

Tomorrow I do my Deuce Bigelow dancing thing. I’ll go ahead and post the time and place (don’t know if it’ll be open to the public though):

SUNRISE Department Store, 13:40PM.
(No.15, Fuxing N. Rd., Taipei.)
中興百貨 北市復興北路15號

Ah yes… good times to be had.

Here are some recently uploaded photos. Over time I’ll figure out the best way to keep’m all organized with sets and tags and stuff.

Batman Scooter

Blunt Rolling 101

Ok, tired of writing. I’ll be sure to be back tomorrow with the Deucy update.

    Hmmmmm guess Frost was right.

Indeed. I’m just as shocked as you are (at Frost being right ;)).

If it’s possible, try to go to the test center during the lunch hour and do a few practice runs while everybody is on their lunch break. I did that at the test center in Shulin. I must have practiced about 10 times during that lunch hour. When the actual test came, I had no problems, and passed on my first try. It’s a lot more efficient to do that than to have to keep taking more trips to the test center.

I’m not sure if the test center where you went will allow you to do this, but I’d check into it.

Also, you might want to give the car driving test a shot while you are there, just to see how you do. It’s harder than the scooter test, but you might get lucky and pass it on the first try.

    Good luck,
    Scott
