My Clan And Communities

“Call it a clan, call it a network, call it a tribe, call it a family. Whatever you call it, whoever you are, you need one.” – Jane Howard
There’s a certain science to building and maintaining a healthy community (clan, network, tribe, family, etc.) I’ve been casually experimenting with that it takes to be a successful community builder for practically all my life and I’ve just recently decided to make it my sole focus.
My Clan Foucsed On:
- Milwaukee
- Personal Branding
- Gaming
- Music
- Pwning Life
Communities
As I write this I’ve realized that “All communities may not be businesses, but all businesses are communities.”
Social Milwaukee – This is currently a monthly meetup focused on the tools, skills and technology necessary for building communities and how communities can be effectively used to solve challenges for organizations large and small. This will evolve into an business that provides consultation, solutions and management for organizations that would like to better leverage community dynamics in or outside of their organization.
Black Horse Tai Chi – Where I share my style of tai chi.
Pwning Life – The blog for the personal development system I’m creating, also the hub for local meetups.
I Power Project – This is a community I actively participate in. They’re focused on what they call “Self Development Activism.” I hang out there because there is a lot of congruency with pwning life.

I ran into your YouTube page when looking up how to make a t shirt. I have to say a lot of your ideals fall in line with mine, and I live on the east side of Milwaukee. Where do you practice jiu jitsu? I’m currently looking for a training partner.
