Lol! That’s the first thing that comes to mind. The internet is so AWESOME. This isn’t the first time I’ve dipped super low with “cash on hand” but… it’s a little more interesting this time around. Because of the nature of the internet, the fact that my cash is low “offline” does little to effect my online presence. I think this is why (us) nerds get wrapped up into this thing. Offline your eating ramon noodles, got no friends and your feet stink. Online your MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE, pwning n00bs, an internet tough guy, master of talking to womenz on the MySpaces.

Today was an interesting day… It had HIGHS and it had lows… But the end result was a day that very well my be the best day I’ve had since returning to “the States.” The day started like most other days with waking and eating and that whole thing. I was just getting geared up to go into… “Ima get some shit DONE!” mode when I stumbled across [zzz3333's (Zack) video about "waking up"]. I left a comment and after he replied I decided to make my small contribution to the “cause” (what exactly this cause is is another story…) So then I made [this video].
Something odd happened after that. I exchanged some mails with Zack and he left some comments and I walked away with a… bad taste in my mouth or something afterwards. On the one hand he’s ALL about making “positive changes” and on the other he looks down on people that aren’t… doing it like him? I’m not sure, perhaps that’s another post for another day. What happened after making the video is I got in a funky mood and went to sleep for like 2 hours. Woke up to check the mail and ran into a BEAUTIFUL day. So… instead of going back in the house to get some work done, I went back in the house, grabbed my juggling sacks and decided to go on an India Jones style adventure through the hood… « Read the rest of this entry »

Fact: SMPFilms and Other Top ‘Tubers Cheat

If Youtube “drama” and such bores you, definitely skip this one.
You know what? I see a lot of shit that “pisses me off” that I don’t say anything about. I think I understand why this SMPFilms thing is different. Back when I was trying to understand Youtube I ran into this video (by SMPFilms):

“I have 45 MILLION views and 100,000 subscribers and here’s how I did it! It’s not as hard as you’d think : )” – SMPFilms (He should have mentioned gaming the system as well…)
I’m listening to it as I write this and it’s still some useful stuff. What upsets me is… HE FUCKING BULLSHITS! I pointed it out in the video above, but basically he talks all this shit about the things you can do to get views, but in reality he [games Youtube] (cheats the system.) He talks all this shit about things to do, but really, he games the system. I’m certain a lot of “top” ‘tubers do, but there’s PROOF that he does it and it’s sitting right on his channel page. It shows 425,000+ “Videos Watched” on his channel. It’s basically impossible to have watched that many (unless you accidentally left yourself logged in running a refresh script.)

I think I’m all done. I usually don’t care about shit like this but I haven’t eaten all day and my Flip is broken (ANG000RZZZZ!!!!) I’m going to go get a fucking sandwich from McDs now. That shit always makes me feel better.
You know what… It’s really because of that video he made. I don’t look into shit much, but I’m pretty sure Lisanova and Smosh have done the same shit, but it doesn’t piss me off as much. Why? Because I haven’t seen a video from them saying “Hey, here’s how you get a bunch of views,” and then it’s a bunch of bullshit that doesn’t mention gaming the system.
R.I.P. Flip

Man, I think I’m a little depressed that my [Flip] is not working. It must have gotten too wet during Beer Run (we got rained on REAL hard.) The good part is most of the video that I took during and after the run turned out OK, but water must have seeped into the Flip after that and the microphone isn’t working properly.
I would have edited the Beer Run video earlier but… I think I’m a little down not having my Flip.

Other than that things are going really well. I should have some really good news in the near future that I don’t want to say too much about just yet. I’ll wait and see how everything turns out first. I’m going to go get my camera replaced today. A least I learned a lesson about bringing a ziplock bag with me when it looks like rain.
