I didn’t do much fundraising today, but I did make a trip to Office Max to get some bare bones simple office essentials. Things are a LOT more organized. My desk area is nice and neat now, got a paper shredder to get rid of useless documents with sensitive stuff on them, and all that sort of thing.

I just got back from bar time, so it’s time to sleep. I’m gearing up for a big push starting Monday. I’m going to get as close as I can to goal by October 31st, even if I don’t hit it then, I’m riding this thing out to completion.

Not a whole lot of forward movement on the fundraising project today since I had to work open to close (9:30am-8:30pm .) BUT I did get the shots of the clothing you’ll have the liberty of removing (it will all be tastefully done of course, if at all .)

$1,000 takes away 1 piece. If you look below closely you’ll see 15 pieces. Where’s the 16th? Perhaps no one will ever know (I was wearing it when I took that shot .)

This isn’t really related to the fundraising, but me and Super just shot this about an hour ago (and I better get to sleep. miltownmom won’t like me up this late .)

Broke $200 today! I set myself up a little fundraising HQ that I’m operating out of now in preparation for mass emailing and phone calling I’ll be doing in the coming weeks.

Superman got the first image up. You can see it on the [16thousanddollarhomepage] site. The man by the name of tacochad had what I feel is an EXCELLENT idea (though I think I’ll spice it up a tad.) He said “Why don’t you take a piece of clothing off for every thousand you hit?” What a GRAND idea! I’ve been WAITING for a semi-legit reason to tromp through the streets of Milwaukee in the buff. Now I have one!

I’ll get the image of me in 16 articles of clothing by tomorrow. I’ll also list the order in which the clothing will be removed. Also, if the target is hit by October 31st, I’m going to make a video of me running through the streets of downtown Mil-Town in the buff and put it up on Youtube. We have to hit the mark by the 31st 11:59pm Central though. Or no meatball(z).

miltownmom hooked up a donation so that brings me close to breaking the $100 barrier . There are some interesting developments in the works. I’m hesitant to say much, but when I can YOU will be the first to know.

I REALLY wish the page was working right now… but here’s my idea.

Have you ever heard of the site: http://www.milliondollarhomepage.com/? Basically a kid in college decided to try paying his tuition with a website that would have a million pixels for sale at $1 each. People had to buy at least a 10*10 chunk at a time (100 bucks.) New spread of the site and he ended up selling $150,000+ worth in a month and I think he sold it out in less than a year (or about that.)

So I’m thinking a fun copycat site of $16,000 for charity should be no problem.

I already purchased the domain and setup a very simple site, but there are some technical difficulties on the registrars side . I definitely let you guys know when the site is up!
