I REALLY wish the page was working right now… but here’s my idea.
Have you ever heard of the site: http://www.milliondollarhomepage.com/? Basically a kid in college decided to try paying his tuition with a website that would have a million pixels for sale at $1 each. People had to buy at least a 10*10 chunk at a time (100 bucks.) New spread of the site and he ended up selling $150,000+ worth in a month and I think he sold it out in less than a year (or about that.)
So I’m thinking a fun copycat site of $16,000 for charity should be no problem. 
I already purchased the domain and setup a very simple site, but there are some technical difficulties on the registrars side 
. I definitely let you guys know when the site is up!
