This line was in an old Snoop Dogg song (Pump Pump) but I never really understood the meaning until I saw the line in a movie with Morgan Freeman acting as a pimp or something. That’s when I got to hear the extended version of the quote which included something about being so serious about studying that recess pissed him off. So he quit.

I found out the other day that a friend couldn’t see any of the photos from the [Return of the Mil Town Kid] entry. I just assumed China must have blocked all of Flickr because of some recent kicking of dust I heard about.

Today I took the time to see if China really had blocked Flickr, and… [yep].

When ever these kinds of things happen, some people get really up in arms about it. “HEY CHINA! YOU CAN’T DO THAT!” or “Google, Microsoft and Yahoo should just shut down China’s access to them and see how they like it,” or something like that.

Well… China CAN do that, and I guarantee that if Google, Microsoft or Yahoo saw a profit in shutting down their sites in China, they would.

What’s better? No Flickr (in China) or restricted access Google Images in China? You can see what I chose on the post previous to this one.

My bro and his girl were in town from Minneapolis over the weekend to attend me mama’s party and go to another family gathering in Chicago. I decided to pass on the love of the hookah which was passed on to me over in Taiwan.

These are from Sunday night at a place called 2 Sweet Delight on 2128 E. Locust (in Milwaukee.)

I had a really good time, but somehow smoked myself out by taking too many “Man sized hits.” That had never been a problem in Taiwan. I think it might have been the flavor (Mango+Peach) or the lamb Giro I had about 15 minutes previous to going. Something that night gave me a spinning head and a tummy ache.

Like I said in the last post, made it back in one piece. Even though it’s been a few days, I’m still working on unpacking. The last couple days have been good. Rolled around with the old crew hommies, drank some brew, played some games (board and video.) Quite nice. The pace of things here are scaled back a bit from Taiwan, but I think it’ll be a welcome change once I get settled in. When I’m in my apartment (I’ll hook up pics or a movie of it soon.) I just chill out. I’ll probably even watch some of the DVDs I brought back with me that I’ve never seen before (like “The One Armed Swordsman” series.)

Today there’s a BBQ in the morning and my mom is having some kind of “I DON’T FUCKING WORK ANYMORE!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!” party (aka a retirement party.) These should be fun.

Just a quick YO!

Landed safe and sound, with Robotic Nutz picking me up from the airport. Last night was kind of strange. Saw two possums and a skunk. Don’t remember ever seeing those in the hood before.
