Barefoot Running, Lemons 2 Lemonade and Miscellaneous
October 21st, 2006 § 2 Comments
I discovered a newer, faster and better shoe yesterday. I call it the noshoe. Running barefoot is really fun. You more aware of what’s going on while running, it automatically corrects your running form (no sloppy running in the noshoe,) and it strengthens your calves and ankles (I could feel my 4 times sprained ankle getting stronger.) I highly recommend trying it out. Googling
Lemons 2 Lemonade
After running around with Sinclair this afternoon, I came home and got on-line. After about 15 minutes of surfing, my connection starting fritzing, until finally it went totally out. That freaking adapter I bought 2 weeks ago blew. Instead of getting pissed, I did this…
I thought about what my next move should be. I wanted to do some stuff on-line, but it could wait (or I could have just plugged the cable directly into my PC
.) I decided that I would use the time to get some things done that got put on hold all week. So I tided up my home office, and organized some stuff on my iBook. After that I went to Taipei Main Station to get a new adapter and trade in the old one.
After I parked I found a vegetarian buffet to have dinner at. I don’t eat at those places much, but I’m going to change that (I went through a pile of receipts today and saw far too many, Mc D’s and MOSes.) I was happy to find out the D-Link store had an original one for me this time. I picked that up and made my way to another store to exchange the old one.
When I told them it was broke and I wanted something else, they first asked me when I bought it. I said October 3rd (I had it in my money tracking notes.) They looked up the purchase and let me exchange it for a 512MB flash card (I needed a new one.) I had to pay a 14NT difference. Then I came home and thanked the Universe for hooking me up
.
Miscellaneous
About 2.5 years ago I bought a Toy Robbins books because it looked interesting. I didn’t have any book to read this week, so I decided to bust it open. It’s that book “Awaken the Giant Within.” Pretty good so far. It’s excellent at getting a person… HYPE! Oh, that’s probably half the reason for the million dollar ideas.
While out today I saw an iGallop. I got a nice video of some guys testing it. Youtube has some videos already, but most of them suck (except for this one.) I’ll fix that situation tomorrow.
Pop Locking Madness From Shirt Ninja

I don’t think I need to write anything today.
I did this in the morning before I went out fer me strech. There’s another test version where I’m in my underpants, but that will never see the light of day. Ah… to be a kid again.
Million Dollar Ideas from the MilliondollarKid

I’d like to add that I felt like a million bucks today too. I think the combination of not taking my meds and not having heartburn had me floating on clouds today. Streching this morning was good. Had a nice bowl of plain oatmeal and sugar and was off to work.
Million Dollar Idea #1: ROLLED UP SOCK!!!!
BOOM!

This is a device I developed as a streching assistant. There are a couple of streches that require a pillow to perform. Like I can be rolling to the park with one of my yellow couch pillows. ‘d get stabed by Taiwanese gansters for that. Not only does this device help with streching, but it saves lives as well. Anyhoo, I will market this product (rolled up sock) with the strech book and DVD set that I make.
Million Dollar Idea #2: Speed Gates for the MRT in Taiepei
Here’s a prototype I had in mind.

Million Dollar Idea #3: NINJAS!!!
I could market ninjas EVERYWHERE, shirts… and uh… STUFFS!!!

Million Dollar Idea #4: English Language Board Game Classes
So I wrote up a proposal for an English Language Table Top Game class and did a demo run today in a higher level class and I razzle dazzled the bosses. They were like “DAMN! That ‘ish is PIMP! How the fuck can they play that ‘ish in English so fast?!?” and I was all like “Yall know how it is. A niggas got mad skillzlez.” SNAP!

Million Dollar Idea #5: Pimpin’ and Hustlin’
Sheet dawg! Bill Gates made BILLIONS like this. Fo’ skrizzle. I’m now on a mission to open a Karate/Pimpdo Dojo where fools come come from miles around to learn the acient art of board breakin’ and pimp cane smackery.
It’s almost 1. My bed time.
Fucking Medication

Note: I started this last night, then fell asleep. Well, my day started pretty good. This is day 4 of my 60 day get the splits or die trying. The streches felt really good today. Every day that I go out, I learn something new about how to do a strech better. Things went to ass after the morning though. I ended up with heartburn all day long. I suppose I can’t really blame the medication, but it’s definitely related to that. I took 2 pills on an empty stomach the night before. Bad move. That heartburn ruined my day yesterday. I ended up looking up the side effects of the medication I take and found a really cool site that I’ll probably spent some time one. It’s exactly the kind of site I’ve thought about starting time and time again. I’m sure it must have been started by some other bipolar nutter. The Site is CrazyMeds.org The medication I take falls in the Valproate Family. Check out what the site had to say about them:
So, what can you expect from the valproate meds? Instant middle age, no matter how old you are. Suddenly you’ll be old.
- You’ll get fat.
- You’ll go bald, or your hair will thin or change in some way.
- You’ll always have heartburn, diarrhea, nausea, abdominal pain or similar stomach complaints.
- You’ll be tired all the time.
- Your hearing won’t be as good as it used to be.
- You’ll have the shakes a lot. Gee, and this is an anticonvulsant?
- Your liver will hate you.
- You just won’t feel that sexual any more. As if all the the above weren’t enough to turn you off, valproates and other anticonvulsants mess with your testosterone.
YAY! I’m sure my liver hates me and I know my hair is thinning because of the medication (I did an experiment and stopped taking it for 2 weeks, my hair started getting thicker again.) But other than that I only mildy suffer from the other ones from time to time. I’m pretty sure I’m tireder, but tider than super hype energy man aint so bad. I took a day off from taking the meds yesterday and will get back on my usual schedule today. I’ll also try real hard not to miss the morning dose so I don’t take 2 at night. I’ve taken 2 at night before, but it’s usually not right before I go to bed and not on an empty stomach. [tags]depakene, depakote, valproic, acid, side, effects, bipolar, valproate, family[/tags]
