I went on a Mother’s Day adventure today with the Taiwan family. It was a good time. I’m tired so won’t write much (want to play Xbox .)

Here’s something to look forward to. For a while I’ve been trying to figure out something to do with [Happybirthdaynigga.com] and [Happybirthdaybitch.com]. It finally hit me. I’m going to put an installation of WordPress on each one and write up people’s birthday. It might be someone famous, someone I know, some past historical dude, or my pops. Then, using WordPress, I can have the birthday prewritten, so new ones will pop up automatically on the correct day. That should be fun.

Why? Because of the heat I think. It’s been pretty hot the last couple of days and I think that’s been effecting people around me (myself included.) Usually all I want to do is stuff, but lately all I want to do is chill. I think it’ll take a few days/weeks to adjust to the heat. In the mean time, I’ll do a lot of chilin’ and important things like that.

Today was a perfect example of how to not get things done. Instead of getting things done today, I decided to buy some beers and go to the park (in the hot hot sun) and read some books. I turned out being the right decision. I also decided to photo journal the adventure. I’m not sure if that was the right decision yet as I haven’t looked at the photos.

Just browsed through them and it looks like I made the right choice. Here’s the premise to the adventure. I was bored, didn’t want to play Xbox and thought beer was a good idea. So I decided to go on a beer drinking adventure in the park by the river. I went with Heinikens as the beer of choice in rememberance of 501 and The Frame. I’ll add a couple photos here later.  Going to go eat dinner now.  If you want to see some now, click the link above.  I ended up getting through about 40 pages of the Paulo book and the first few pages of the Tantra book.

I think today, exactly one month after getting it, was the first time I’ve turned the Xbox off without needing to A: sleep or B: go somewhere. Anytime prior to that I’d turn it on and go at it until I couldn’t go at it no more. The newness is finally wearing off a little bit. I even decided to take a nap today instead of forcing myself to stay awake so I’d have more time to play.

I might even do something crazy like read a book at home instead of play it.

There’s this thread [NEWS STORY: Taiwanese/US Custody Battle] over on Forumosa.com about… well a custody battle between an American and Taiwanese women. I’ve been poppin’ my head in and out of that one. Yesterday and funny piece of information came up about an escort website she use to have. Someone found an Archive of that site with pictures and an escort review site with her details. Well, long story short is I went ahead and bought that old domain. I was going to put something silly there, like a flash movie playing the hook to “My Baby Daddy.” I guess I won’t though.

While getting ready for work this morning, I noticed a movie on TV *excuse me while I find the name* ah here it is: ["My Date With Drew"] Basically it’s a movie about a guy with a crush on Drew Barrymore that makes a website or something trying to get a date with her and succeeds. He records the whole thing on a camera he bought from Circuit City (and returned after the 30 days.) It looked pretty funny. I only caught a few minutes of it though. For a while I thought it was about a gay guy trying to get a date with Drew Carey .

I thinkt he movie may have inspired me to try something like that. I obviously wouldn’t be trying to get a date with anyone, but I might have to buy me a camera from 3C and make a movie about something (though here in Taiwan I’d have to film it in 7 days.)

I think it’s about time to turn off the blog now.

My friend Sinclair let me know about something else I can do with the Xbox.  [Have an Xbox blog.]  That link will take you to a blog that the Xbox keeps up for me letting people know what games I played that day and what achiements I got (those are points you get for beating levels and stuff.)

I should be going to the Philippines again soon, even though it might only be me and Jennifer.  I’m looking forward to competing so I’ll still probably go.  Not much new to report.  Finished reading through Getting Things Done.  It did get kind of repetative near the end and I skipped some stuff, but it was a pretty good read.  Someone lent me ["The Pilgrimage"] so I’m reading through that right now.  I read one of that guys other books  “The Alchemist” some time ago and remember enjoying it.

This Xbox 360 stuff is pretty cool.  For those of you not in the know, it comes with a headset-microphone (for chatting with friends), has a messaging system (for leaving short messages and voicemails), has the ability to download demo and buy games online.  Pretty cool stuff.

Now I’m going to begin looking for a new afternoon job.
