I only uploaded one small picture (mostly because I’m a lazy bastard), but here’s a taste of my new dew for summer.

I’m thinking about getting a new wild cut every once in a while, they’re kind of fun to get.

2 more days of work, then I have another mini vacation. When I come back the first thing I’ll do is get to work on getting caught up with my photo backlog.

Yesterday I sat down to go through my to-do list and noticed I didn’t have so much to do anymore. One of the things on there is finish cleaning up me rooms. Well I started to, then I got the urge to clean up the blog a bit.

This theme/style seemed nice, let me know what you think. I like it because it has a calendar and search function on the site.

I got the theme from here (link), the theme I’m talking about is Greenwood incase someone happens to read this one day and the theme is different.

So I’ve been trying my hand at being a agent (sort of). The school I’m working at needed (needs) about 4 new teachers, so I stepped up to the plate to take a swing at doing the teacher finding thing. I think I did the same thing most agents do (post an ad online somewhere and wait for teachers to contact them).

Today was the first day we had teachers come to do demos and I think it went really well. I did find out that keeping track of everything isn’t the easiest thing to do (when you haven’t done it before). Keeping everyone up-to-date on everything and setting up times for demos could have gotten messy if I didn’t keep good tabs on everything (and there has been times in the past where even I “miltown the great” didn’t do such a good job “keeping tabs”).

From the way this went I think I may try my hand at doing this thing more permanently. The school was very open with how much other places have charged for the same service, and I would have been (maybe will be) more than happy to be the one to lighten their monetary load.

This weekend I had a good time out and about with the Coolio happenings (link to a post on Forumosa.com, there’s a link to a movie I shot in the post) and the KTV thing Forumosa.com style (link to the KTV thread). Pictures and stuff are coming, just not today. This is my last week of the semester, next week I’ll have even more free time then I do now so plan on getting my photo gallery setup (then all these pictures and movies I keep talking about will come).

I here Coolio’s gonna be in Taiwan tonight. I gots to see. Will be there with camera in hand. This week I’ve just been working on mom’s website and doing the BJJ thing. I’m looking forward to fixing my website up. When I do they’ll be a special section for media and stuff (so yall be able to see all pictures and movies from present to past).

I’ve also been shopping for Powerbooks lately. miltownkid is finally going to take a step into the world of (laptop) mobile computing.

OK. That’s it for now.

Got a day off work today because of the Typhoon. It’s been really weak so far, no rattling windows or anything and the rain has been mild (knock on wood). I’d be home from work already even if I didn’t have a day off (but I did get some extra things done this morning).

I’ve been getting some of those loose ends tied up. The one I’m working on now is a community site for moy mom and it seems to be going well. Coldspringpark.org. I’m using Drupal to power this site and, even though it seem complex at first, it’s really cool stuff. The complexity allows for flexabilaty I’m not use to using other CMSes.

I think I’ll save redoing my website until summer break (next month). I have to do some planning for it. That’s all that’s on my mind for now. Thanks for tuning in.
