Wired 8.04: Why the future doesn’t need us.
Get a coffee, a beer, a hot coco, or what does it for you and take some time to read this. Not mind boggling stuff, but this guy drops names of a lot of cool people and books, and brings hope back into that robotic butt wiper you’ve always dreamed of.
You’ll know if this is the kind of stuff you like after the first page.

So what was your take? Have you ever read any of Asimov’s science fiction? He coined the word robitics and explores the whole concept of intelligent machines pretty throughly. You might enjoy reading some of his books. The movie I Robot isn’t too much like what he wrote.
