I got a page up at miltownkid.com (that’s my personal site, notice how it lacks the S) just now. It’s basically just a link to my blog, but there will be more to come. Today was long and busy. Getting up early to pick the bro up at the airport, working (briefly), getting his phone activated and going to the Chinese medicine doctor didn’t mix well with five hours of sleep. I ended up missing Mandarin class today, but I don’t plan on letting that become a usual event.

The government has put a new rule in place that requires a person to register those SIM cards purchased from 7eleven (and the like). That was a little more trouble than I would have liked. I’d tell you all about the crap I went through, but who wants to here that. Basically I ended up going to two different stores and one store twice because someone miss typed the number, but all was well in the end (isn’t it always)?

The brain is racked. I best get to sleep.

I’m going to bed late and need to get up early, but I thought I’d lay down some words before sleep time. The Bro Man comes into Taibei at 6:15am and I’ll be there to greet him. He’ll be here for a couple of weeks, so that should generate a few adventures/stories that would be blogworthy. I’ll remember to bring my camera with me too to snap some pictures of… something cool I hope.

Today was pretty jam packed. After work I substituted at another school which is a train ride away. That was from 2-6:30. I met this guy at the school that’s studying political science in a university here (noteworthy because he’s doing it all in Chinese). He told me to let him know if I ever need anything because he knows “people”. It’s always good to know “people” that know “people”. I bet it’s even better to know people that know “people” that know “people” (or maybe that’s worse :S). The other cool thing about this guy is that he was into philosophy and jazz. You know, Plato and them cats (people). I like philosophy, but haven’t done much reading (just lots of philosophizing).

After that sub job I went straight to Taipei Sports Bar for the Forumosa(.com) Happy Hour. Met a bunch of new people and saw old familiar faces. That was nice. Then I went home. Checked mail and had the… my wife heat me up a cinnamon role . I need to get to bed now.

I’m going to move my blog from it’s current spot to blog.miltownkid.com over the next few days. During that time I might not post (or I might). Just giving the heads up to… probably mom and adoa lol.

Things to report. I started 3 months worths of Chinese medicine today. Basically I’ll be going twice a week for three months in order to help my bi-polarness (or something). I really wasn’t game to spending the money on it but my wife thinks it’s a good idea. If she’s happy, I’m happy (plus I don’t think it’s going to hurt, if anything, it should help ).

Over the last few days I’ve gotten my computer super organized. It’s very nice I must say. My computer room still isn’t completely complete. I need to organize some stuff I have piled up on the couch. After I take care of that, I’ll hook up some pictures.

I went and redid the forum categories again. Have a look if you like. I’m going to start posting on our forum more and on forumosa.com less from now on. I’m also going to start promoting our forum after we get a logo made and some tweaks done.
