At the net cafe

I have a really crap keyboard so I’m not going to write much. I’ll be seeing Kung Fu Hustle in a few minutes. That should be a good see. I started getting my computer area in order again. I had to start from where I left off when the bro got here. There are just some CDs to organize right now. I’ll get a page up about the finished product when it’s uhh… finished.

I don’t want to put up with this key board any longer. ‘Till tomorrow.

MMA and Gaming Day

That MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) event last night was really nice (did I say I was going to one?). There were good match-ups and the fights had some good ending. Someone got one of those triangle choke things put on them and the guy tapped, and there were also a few taps from arm bars. One guy even tapped standing from a barrage of knees to the head. All and all a nice event (and the price was right, free).

Before the fights I got to put my Nike Air Force 2′s to the test on the courts and I think they held up well. Mine are full tops (I hear they’re hard to get now) so that allowed me to to generate maximum ankle breakage with little risk of ankle breakin’ (Note: BREAKING ANKLES— Making an offensive move that all but makes the defender fall over.) I’m digging B-Ball and will one day learn how to “take it to the hole”.

Today was your average Sunday. A chill morning on the PC followed by game clubbing. Today I learned a new game called Puerto Rico, then player a bunch of Boggle.

Now I shall retire to the place where the bed bugs might bite.

Breath In, AAAAaaaaahhhh…

It was a blast having my bro over from the US, but it’s also nice having things back to “normal”. In the usual miltownkid fashion (which I’m working on changing :) ) we arrived at the airport “right on time” about 45 minutes before his plane left. On top of that we ended up getting off the bus at the wrong terminal. I assumed he was at terminal #1, but China Airlines recently moved to terminal #2. They were able to check his bags in and do the exit stuff at that terminal, so it wasn’t a big problem.

I spent a lot of yesterday at my school getting things ready for the end of the semester. I didn’t leave until about 6:00pm, I was in and out though since I live so close.

I have a full plate of things to do today. There’s the HK breakfast buffet thing at around 12:00, then hoops at 2:00 and later in the day there’s a NHB (No Holds Barred, I think that’s what it means anyway) events going on at one of the Universities. I’ll be rolling with my digital camera today, so I’ll have many a pic to put up. I also have a big back log of pics to put up, plus some pics my bro took. I’ll be slowly releasing them to the public.

That’s good for now.

E Bro Departing

One, Oh One.

The Bro made it to the 101 today. Unlike the sunny day we had yesterday, it was all clouds today. We got some pictures, looked about and flew out. Don’t have much else to say. Today just consisted of the usual day to day living stuff.

Here’s a song I came up with due to “irregularity”.

“Rolling with the shit-tee but hole”

“Dry-wet-dry can’t save your soul.” (funny for those of you that know of the dry-wet-dry technique).

Oh yeah, I picked up some new kicks at the night market in Shilin with the bro last night. A steal at 1,300NT for some Air Force 2′s (I hope it was anyway). I was just glad to get some shoes that feet my (relative) gorilla feet. These are the shoes I’ll (hopefully) be hooping in this weekend.

I’ve been slow with pictures and jazz lately. I hope to correct that when my Bro exit’s stage East.

Quote of the day – “Sometimes it pays to pay.” (I thought I made this one up, but Google seems to disagree.)

Here’s a quote I did make up and Google (and the one other guy on the Internet) agrees with me: “Morals are for mortals.” – miltownkid
